Can a “pledge” and a “promise” be made for Lawlessness?

Can a “pledge” and a “promise” be made for Lawlessness?
By Stephen J. Gray

“The Prime Minister reminded his MPs he made a pledge to Canadians during the 2011 election: that his government would not reopen the abortion debate and that Conservatives wouldn’t bring forward legislation on the topic.” -Globe and Mail, March 28, 2013.

Abortion kills an innocent human life. Canada has no law on killing by abortion, just like communist China and North Korea. Yet, there are those in positions of power who do not want to stop the killing, despite all the evidence that we have of the humanity of the pre-born child. The leader of the Conservative government, P.M. Stephen Harper, is on the record as saying this: “As long as I am prime minister we are not opening the abortion debate” (quoted in Globe and Mail, April 21, 2011).

Therefore, one has to ask the question, can a “pledge” be made to continue this lawlessness on abortion, and can one man, Stephen Harper, be allowed to impose his view on this issue on parliament?

The Globe and Mail of March 28, 2013, updated April 2, 2013, in an article by Gloria Galloway and Steven Chase stated, “The Prime Minister faced a brewing revolt from backbenchers this week concerning the grip his office exerts on their conduct, a rebellion that was triggered by Mr. Harper’s refusal to allow a vote on a B.C. MP’s motion condemning sex-selective abortions and then escalated into a bigger fight over how much autonomy Tory members of Parliament should have in the Commons….”

The article went on to state, “The Prime Minister reminded his MPs he made a pledge to Canadians during the 2011 election: that his government would not reopen the abortion debate and that Conservatives wouldn’t bring forward legislation on the topic.”… (emphasis added) The article further stated, “Last week the Conservatives collaborated with the NDP and Liberals to declare Mr. Warawa’s motion ineligible for further debate – essentially rendering it dead – despite the opinion of a Library of Parliament analyst who said it was entirely within bounds….” [1]

So there we have it, Mr. Accountability himself, Stephen Harper, hiding behind a “pledge,” which really is a suppression of free speech. Then the so-called “Conservatives” gang up with the Liberals and the NDP against Warawa’s motion. What an undemocratic gang of political hypocrites these politicians are and a danger to a supposed democratic society. And one of Harper’s MPs, Michelle Rempel, climbed aboard the pro-abortion bandwagon and parroted this excuse:

“A lot has been talked about this year about the ability of parliamentarians to have respectful debate on a wide variety of issues and I certainly support that principle. Having said that ... we made a promise to Canadians,” [on abortion] said Rempel. [2: Calgary Herald May 23, 2013.]

Rempel says she supports “debate,” and “that principle,” yet her party “collaborated” with the opposition to suppress debate. Is it any wonder politicians have no credibility?

The above information should surely raise this important question: How can anyone in a supposedly democratic society make a “pledge” or a “promise” not to reopen debate on any issue, abortion or otherwise?

I believe we have reached a stage in this country where free speech and free expression have become a sham [3] when all three political parties conspire together and collaborate against having the House vote on a motion of another member of parliament, namely MP Mark Warawa.  If these undemocratic politicians can do that against him, then the precedent has been set, and others could be next. Don’t these political dolts understand what they have done? In their haste to allow this killing by abortion in Canada to continue, they have become just like P.M. Stephen Harper and his lackeys; they all have made a “pledge” and a “promise” for lawlessness.

A Thank You to Friends from High in the Sky

A Thank You to Friends from High in the Sky
(Satire) by Stephen J. Gray

Friends,
As I fly through the air for another visit to other countries, and rack up the air miles, I am quite happy to be on my way again. It will be nice to get away and not answer any questions about the distraction of the so-called senate scandal. As you know, I promised Senate reform some time ago, but a thought just came to me, who needs it now? We have a majority in the Senate, and I appointed a whole bunch of the gang, oops I mean honourable ones. And I could appoint more at my leisure, so why interrupt a good thing that works? Still, I want to thank all you true believers, for your support during these trying times. It really was heartening the way all of you cheered, applauded, and shook my hand after my speech on accountability, before leaving. On an unhappy note; there was a few dismaying incidents after my speech, where some of the media tried to get me to answer questions. Can you believe these guys, I invite them into my hallowed chamber to listen to my speech on accountability and transparency and they have the cheek to shout and yell questions at me? No more invites for them if they cannot behave when I am at the podium.

The Senate expenses hassle is really a storm in a teacup as are the complaints about a $90,000 check cut to aid a senator friend. Friends always help friends and we did. What is wrong with that? You would think a bank had been robbed with all the publicity this act of kindness is getting. Still, we will soldier on despite all the slings and arrows aimed at our accountable and transparent government. Just look at all the good things we have done. We got two pandas on loan from China and signed a strategic partnership with the communist dictatorship. We sealed the Nexen deal and handed over some of the country’s resources to a Communist State Owned Enterprise. I have always said I am in favour of free enterprise and the free market and this deal proves it! I went to Davos and told all the elites we were going to raise the Old Age security to 67 years of age. I did not do that in parliament first because I wanted to show the big boys, leadership in action. What could be better than that? Still some in the negative media are making a big deal about the $90,000 check, and the, “$3.1 billion missing in anti-terror funds,” that my government can’t locate. Hey, it’s only money and it is in the system somewhere, so what’s the big deal?  As I write this note, in the sky, I am on a high. (did I just make a pun?) I think of all you wonderful true believers out there. No matter how much I suppress your freedom of speech and expression you still do what you are told, and as I mentioned earlier you all gave me a big round of applause after my speech this morning. Some even patted me on the back and shook my hand, before I took off for my plane journey overseas.  What a send off. It was an amazing show of servility and sycophantic subservience, oops I mean support.

No doubt some of the cynical critics are saying, “What a grovelling gang you all are.” I say you are wonderful bunch of supporters who will do and say anything for me. Your loyalty brings tears to my eyes, up here in the sky, hey I am a bit of poet and I did not know it. Just a little bit of levity to coax a smile from you all. Still, I will say this; I hope while I am away creating jobs, prosperity and helping our country’s economy that none of you will speak out of line. Think of me as your example, and do not answer any media questions. Anyway, I have left the “Pit Bull” in charge so he will look after you all. And Gordy the Whip-master can be depended upon to also keep you all in line. And don’t even think about bringing up that pesky abortion issue while I am away. It’s over kaput, dead, just like the 491 dead babies I don’t want to talk about, who survived abortions and were left to die.

Anyway, hopefully the senate scandal will be a dead issue when I get back. If not I may have to prorogue parliament, that should shut them all up. They won’t have a platform if the House is shut down. Then we can all enjoy summer in peace.

Thank you all,
Your Faithful and Accountable Leader.

The Slaughter,The Killings and The Coverup in Canada

Who would have believed that in the supposedly civilized country of Canada, 491 babies that were born alive after failed killings by abortion were then left to die, or that this atrocity would not even be investigated? Or that those in positions of power, namely the justice system, the leader of the federal government and most of the politicians of all the political parties would remain silent on this appalling heinous criminality? A headline in Postmedia News of January 31, 2013, said this: “Tory backbenchers call on RCMP to investigate late-term abortions, but PM says the debate is closed” the article was written by Tobi Cohen.

In fact, the country’s leader, the right honourable Stephen Harper is quoted in the article as saying this on the monstrous atrocity: "I think all members of this House, whether they agree with it or not, understand that abortion is legal in Canada and this government, myself included, have made it very clear that the government does not intend to change the law in this regard" [1]

These babies were born alive, after failed killings; therefore, in these 491 cases this isn’t a matter of abortion—it’s a matter of infanticide: and that IS against Canadian law.  Mr. Harper should at least know that difference. Yet, he continues to do nothing about this contravention of the criminal code:

“According to the Criminal Code, a child is considered to be a human being and a person after proceeding fully from the mother's womb, therefore, based on Section 223(2) of the Criminal Code, there should be 491 homicide investigations or prosecutions in connection with these deaths.” [1]

But to date, nothing has been done. These 491 innocents have received no justice and no recognition of their humanity. Yet, a lawless Canada--Canada has no law on abortion--led by PM Stephen Harper is always boasting that they, the Conservatives, are the “party of law and order.” What an abominable disgrace this government is, as are the other political parties in this House of Evil called parliament. 491 babies cry out for justice and only three MPs spoke out to try and right this terrible injustice.

Animals get more respect in this country than human life. One has only to think back to the frenzy and outcry over the slaughtered sled dogs at Whistler [2] to realize that animal lives are more of a priority than innocent tiny humans. Something is deadly wrong in our society today when a mass human killing of this magnitude is covered up, or missed by the mainstream media. One wonders if it had been 491 dogs slaughtered or left to die—would the media have missed or censored the evidence? Based on their reporting on the killing of animals, I don’t believe so.

In fact, many media show their bias in favour of killing by abortion.  Consider an editorial headlined “The Abortion debate is over so shut up” in the Vancouver Province of November 20, 2012, which stated,

“Anti-abortionists need to get this through their skulls: the debate is over and you lost. Women long ago won the right to have control over their bodies, and the choice about whether and when to have children, and Canadians massively support that right. Abortion is not murder, so get over it.” [3]

But it is not only The Province newspaper that shows its bias on the killing by abortionists. Recently, the Canadian Centre for Bioethical Reform sent out a media release entitled “Abortion Face-Off with Stephen Harper.” [4] Which was a postcard distribution in Stephen Harper’s riding. I did not see any media coverage of these postcards from the National Post, The Globe and Mail or the Toronto Star. The CBC did a story but said: “CBC has decided not to use those images.” [5] the images were of Stephen Harper and an aborted baby. Nor did these three newspapers cover the Launch of, “The New Abortion Caravan” [6] in a busy downtown Vancouver location last year.

I believe this lawless atrocity called abortion in Canada shows the culpability of so-called “investigative journalism.” Their coverage of abortion and the crimes of abortionists is mostly limited. They show no pictures of these little innocent victims, except of course if it’s animals--then the slaughter is all over the airwaves, TV stations and the newspapers.  There are a few journalists who have spoken out on the abortion issue, but sadly only a few. Most of the media in Canada covered up these 491 homicides of these little innocents. And thanks to an ongoing cover-up by many powers-that-be, this evil atrocity in Canada continues.

An Open Letter to Kermit Gosnell the Abortionist

Dear Kermit, may I call you Kermit? I have heard you are in a spot of bother for killing babies in your abortion practice. They say you slit the necks of some babies after they were born alive, and that your abortion clinic pipes and toilets were choked with babies’ body parts. I guess you must be feeling very frustrated that you are being discriminated against when others are practically doing the same thing. Anyway, I write this letter to give you some advice: you should come to Canada.  We have no law on abortion, just like China and North Korea and our abortionists are feted and praised in the media. One abortionist has even been called a hero and received Canada’s highest honour, The Order of Canada.

Our Prime Minister, the Right Honourable Stephen Harper has even said, “As long as I am prime minister we are not opening the abortion debate,…” Stephen Harper, quoted in Globe and Mail, April 21, 2011

So you see Kermit, our PM has said there will be no “debate” on abortion; that would be right up your alley as the saying goes. In fact, here, in our civilized country called Canada, our prime minister and most other politicians in our parliament even voted against discussing when human life begins. Don’t you wish you were up here in the great white north practising your profession? But wait Kermit, I have even more information for you on how we treat babies born alive after abortion. There were 491 babies born alive in Canada [1] after abortionists failed to kill them but no charges have been laid. Three Canadian Conservative MPs even wrote the RCMP [2] and asked them to investigate, but so far nothing has been done and the matter appears to be dead, just like the babies left to die after the failed killings. Even Canada’s “investigative media” has mostly ignored these killings. So you see, Kermit, you really should be practicing up here in Canada.  In fact, our prime minister even said this about the 491 homicides:

“‘I think all members of this House, whether they agree with it or not, understand that abortion is legal in Canada and this government, myself included, have made it very clear that the government does not intend to change the law in this regard,’ he said during question period Thursday.” [2]

So there you have it once again Kermit, there is no law on killing babies in Canada; this is a lawless land, and the authorities turn a blind eye to baby killing as witness the 491 babies mentioned earlier. You surely must be saying to yourself, “I must go to Canada, there is no law on killing by abortion and they even give out the country’s highest honour to an abortionist and they have a wonderful dictatorial prime minister and most of the politicians from all the political parties agree that killing by choice is okay.”

Anyway, Kermit, I just wrote this letter to fill you in on the wonderful opportunity awaiting you here in Canada, should you eventually decide to honour us with your presence.  You could slaughter these little innocents here to your heart’s content and no charges will be laid. I will close for now and leave you with these words by an honourable member of parliament to our right honourable Prime Minister:

‘Will the Prime Minister make it clear that he and his government understand that abortion is not murder?’ [3]
