“In this besieged strip of land, close to 2 million
people live so densely packed that any strike — be it from the air, from the
sea or on land — will kill someone more than the intended target. And that
someone too often is a child.
As of now, 166 children have been killed and 1,310
have been injured, some of them severely.” Jon Snow
As
one watches and sees the heinous slaughter of children in Gaza. The attacks on hospitals, civilians and
other innocents, our political leaders remain silent. Not only are they silent
on these atrocities but are in fact supporting the child killers. Killing
children and civilians and bombing hospitals has been described as “war
crimes.” The leader of the country doing this massacre has been called a “war
criminal” by some. Yet, our so-called “leaders” grovel at the feet of the
perpetrators. What are they afraid of? Surely, our country is not dictated too
by a foreign government?
“Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau and, to a lesser
extent, NDP Leader Thomas Mulcair have fallen in line with Stephen Harper’s
support of the Israeli onslaught on Gaza.
None question the Israeli killing and maiming of hundreds of civilians,
including women and children.”
Haroon Siddiqui, Toronto Star, July 26, 2014.
Still,
if our government here at home and the leaders of the opposition won’t even
defend innocent human life here in Canada, I guess they are running
true to form when they support child killing in another country.
In our country of Canada, a
destroyer of innocent human life even received the “Order of Canada” for his
“work.” Therefore, it should not be a surprise our “leaders” support child
killing by their “allies.” Here in Canada they won’t even investigate
the killing and slaughter of 491 babies born alive and left to die. [1] Which begs the question: Do we have
political monsters in Canada
also?
Still, our “great leader” had
a bird sanctuary named after him in the country that is now slaughtering and
maiming children. And some of the residents of that country even danced and
sang in praise of the slaughter in Gaza.
[2] Which makes one wonder about the
ethics and morals of a country that gives birds a sanctuary while killing
children, hospital patients and other civilians who get no sanctuary, but
instead are slaughtered.
The Irish Times of July 24,
2014 had this to say in an article by Mark Hilliard:
...
“Professor Damian McCormack of Temple St Children’s Hospital in Dublin was among the
Irish medical contingent today. He said in Gaza ‘we have a clear violation of the
principles of medical neutrality through the shelling of hospitals.
“‘These are real people and real children; 43 per cent
of the population in Gaza
are kids. Over 700 are dead now and half of them are children. It’s
infanticide.’
“Professor McCormack called on the Israeli ambassador
to Ireland
to explain his country’s actions or leave. His colleague, Dr Paul Connolly, consultant orthopaedic surgeon, likened the
situation in Gaza
to a ‘slow grinding genocide’”. ... (emphasis
added)
Another brave Norwegian
doctor who works in a hospital in Gaza
had this to say in a letter:
“Dearest friends, The last night was extreme.
The ‘ground invasion’ of Gaza
resulted in scores and carloads with maimed, torn apart, bleeding, shivering,
dying - all sorts of injured Palestinians, all ages, all civilians, all
innocent.“The heroes in the ambulances and in all of Gaza's hospitals are working 12-24 hour shifts, grey from fatigue and inhuman workloads (without payment all in Shifa for the last 4 months), they care, triage, try to understand the incomprehensible chaos of bodies, sizes, limbs, walking, not walking, breathing, not breathing, bleeding, not bleeding humans. HUMANS!
“Now, once more treated like animals by ‘the most moral army in the world’ (sic!)....”

In closing, one must ask
these questions on the evidence available. Why would any Canadians with respect
for human life vote for any politicians who won’t speak out against these
atrocities? And do we have three political monsters here in Canada?
