May the Christ Child’s birth
bring a peace that lasts
May all of the world’s evil be
condemned to the past
May goodness and light
End the dark of the night
May violence and war
Be overcome with prayer
May Jesus our Saviour
Be the answer to our cares
May the innocence of the
child born in a stable
Remind us that good is in
that cradle
May all the people dead from
wars
May they have everlasting
life: in His care
Safe in the Kingdom of God
above
Safe with Jesus where all is
love
These are the thoughts that I
