“Creating Jobs” by selling
arms to head-chopping, murderous dictators
That are killing adults and
children in Yemen,
and are disaster-creators
Millions are starving and
cholera is deadly and rampant
And a coalition of war
criminals are meting out punishment
“Creating jobs” by selling
weapons of death
Are the political sellers
proud of this, or of ethics bereft?
They boast of contracts,
worth many bloody billions
Don’t they realize their deadly
weapons are killing innocent civilians?
People are slaughtered and
maimed in Yemen
and other countries
Devastation and death is the result
of “creating jobs” with no dignity
Carnage capitalism profits
from death and hellish destruction
“Creating jobs” that destroy is
surely a sick and obscene “satisfaction”
Still, the politicians parade
on the so-called world stage
Boasting of their sales that
can cause a murderous rampage
Bloodstained pay checks
accrue to the workers in “the industry of death”
“Creating jobs” that kill and
maim many is deemed a “success”
Should these “honourable
politicians” be put on trial?
For the selling of weapons
horrendous and vile
Oh, don’t be silly they are
“creating jobs”
Are those words really worthy
of The Mob?
Still, these political
salesmen with fancy “honourable titles”
Bask in the glory of
“creating jobs” that are not “vital”
Are they accessories after
the fact, these political snobs?
While others bomb and kill,
they are “creating jobs”
Their victims’ last words or
thoughts might well be:
“They are creating jobs that are killing
our children and me
“What did we do to deserve the attacks
from this murderous mob?
“Oh, I forgot these sick and evil people
are ‘creating bloody jobs.’”
