The election game will be
played in October
The people will vote drunk or
sober
They will place an X next to
a name
Are all of the parties really
the same?
The political parties have
different names
But, do any of them have any
shame?
Do they bribe the people with
their own money?
If it wasn’t so sad, it would
be really funny
The political jokers will
promise this and that
This is their modus operandi,
and that’s a fact
Will they say and do anything
to get a persons vote?
Sometimes, they will say
their words, “are a misquote”
They are “experts’ at
babbling B.S. when asked a question
They won’t answer Yes or No,
getting elected is their mission
The big prize for them is a
seat in the Halls of Power
With a fancy title to their
name under the “honourable” banner
So please help these hungry
politicians get elected
If they don’t make it, they
will feel dejected and rejected
And surely nobody wants to
see them lose their claim to “fame”
So people please do your duty
and vote in the election game
