The Perverted Country

When a country becomes perverted then morality is dead
And filth and corruption are enshrined into “law” instead
Politics and politicians succumb to depravity and decadence
And those running for office are interrogated on their past statements

They are vilified and victimized if they support human life
And if they believe that marriage is only for a man and his wife
They are criticized if they don’t march in parades of nudity and pride
And ridiculed for not supporting debauchery and assisted suicide

Everything that once was normal, moral, and good
Has been replaced by the abnormal, immoral, and lewd
The law has been perverted to “legitimize” the unnatural
And words “man” and “woman” are no longer factual

This is a country where anything goes
Where people march naked without any clothes
The marchers are led by a number of politicians
And police chiefs have participated--is that a “tradition”?

Orgies are okay as long as no “harm” is done
So says a “respected” judge: Is debauchery just harmless fun?
Another judge “reads in” a product of their imagination
Are these people fit to judge and force rules on the nation?

The media in this country promote the killing of the pre-born child
As do the politicians and political parties that have society defiled
Some of these babies have been born alive after attempted killings
But are left to die crying for help, but receive no help to continue living

Is it too late to save a country mired in filth and corruption?
Can its contamination be cleaned up and bring satisfaction?
What if the levers of power are held by those that are corrupt?
Who or what can perform this needed task and start an enormous cleanup?

“The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who, in times of great moral crisis, maintain their neutrality.”  Dante Alighieri
