These Are “Our Allies”

These are our allies, that murder and maim
They slaughter and kill, again and again
Our leaders supply them with tanks and guns
So that they can continue to do, what they have done

They kill innocent children with weapons supplied
They hit a school bus with missiles from the sky
They shoot unarmed protesters, many are killed
Some still alive are maimed and very ill

Our leaders grovel and praise these murderous criminals
They don’t know the meaning of morals or ethical
They are partners in their crimes against humanity
And most of the media covers up their bloody insanity

Some of our leaders take part in their dancing
With swords in their hands in a desert “romancing”
Others even invited them to visit and have tea
Some even sat down with the honourable royalty

Has the system become rotten to its very core?
When it entertains murderers from a foreign shore
Are eyes closed to their crimes and depredations?
When they are welcomed by a number of nations

Anyone speaking out or telling the truth on this matter
Can be subjected to lies and much abusive chatter
It is not politically correct to expose these guys
Because you will be told: These are “our allies”

“While, undeniably, the Islamic State has shown itself beyond the pale with its beheading of innocents and its massacres of soldiers who have surrendered, let us not forget that our allies abetted these monsters,...” Patrick J. Buchanan, September 26, 2014. “A Basket of Snakes”
“Qatar and Saudi Arabia have ignited a ‘time bomb’ by funding the global spread of radical Islam, according to a former commander of British forces in Iraq. General Jonathan Shaw, who retired as Assistant Chief of the Defence Staff in 2012, told The Telegraph that Qatar and Saudi Arabia were primarily responsible for the rise of the extremist Islam that inspires Isil terrorists.”  David Blair, The Telegraph, U. K. October 4, 2014.
“Known and documented, Saudi Arabia has played a key strategic role in promoting and financing terrorism on behalf of Washington. Moreover, Saudi weapons purchases from the US and Canada are also being used to equip and arm various ‘opposition’ rebel groups in Syria including the ISIL and Al Nusrah.”
