Going To Vote

The country is going to vote

Will it vote to continue the rot?

Will the corrupt get into power?

Will corruption continue to flower?

Will it be back to more of the same?

Will it still be rule of the insane?

Will the masses continue to accept?

Those with ethics and principles bereft?

Will they cheer whoever wins?

Despite their lies and ongoing sins

Will they continue in blind acceptance?

And be “happy” in their brainwashed tolerance?

Will they accept to be punished and fooled?

By those that win, electoral power to tax and rule

Will they believe that “democracy” has won?

Does going to vote mean: voting for a “son of a gun”?
